At our first meeting, we had an outstanding turnout of students interested in the OIM Club. We reviewed the purpose of the club, how to maintain active membership, as well as opportunities that will be available and prioritized for OIM majors. For the majority of the meeting, we were pleased to receive an informational session and presentation from PwC, a Big 4 public accounting firm. The presentation was lead by a Risk Advisory manager and included a panel of UMass graduates at the associate level. PwC spoke about the great full-time job and internship opportunities they are currently recruiting for. This is an excellent firm with wide array of possibilities. Due to COVID-19, these opportunities will be held in a remote setting. The interview process will also be held remotely through applications such as Zoom and HireVue. Opportunities are offered for students of all years: freshman year exploratory programs, sophomore year case competitions and externships, junior year internships, and senior year full-time offers.
